There are several restrictive council guidelines and constraints  when involving works in a heritage building or conservation area. A delicate balance between the old and the new is required to ensure that the new fabric does not overwhelm the heritage fabric while at the same time the heritage elements are kept intake to provide unique characteristic to the new space / built form. Our experience from the various works / typologies that we have done in the past has been successful in gaining our building approval in a timely manner while maintaining the efficiency and functionality of the new space / built form without over the top cost involved.
